The Women’s Prize for Fiction is adding a sister award for nonfiction.

The Guardian reports that this move comes in response to research finding that female nonfiction writers are less likely to be reviewed or win prizes than male ones.

Eligible authors can come from anywhere in the world, as long as they publish in the UK and write in English; the winner will receive £30,000 ($36,400).

Organizers expect the first Women's Prize for Nonfiction to be awarded in 2024.

Another bit of book award news: actor and author Kal Penn will host this year's PEN America Literary Awards.

The event takes place March 2.
