"Calvin & Hobbes" artist Bill Watterson comes out of retirement

Bill Watterson, beloved for his Calvin & Hobbes comic strip, is coming out of retirement.

Watterson has collaborated with caricaturist John Kascht on a new book called The Mysteries. 

The book is an illustrated fable for adults, per its blurb, and it took several years to complete.

The Mysteries comes out October 10 but is already an Amazon bestseller in its genre.
