Read "Widows," a short story by Margaret Atwood

Margaret Atwood's upcoming short-story collection is a first in multiple ways.

It's the first collection since she jointly won the Booker Prize in 2019 ... and since the death of her partner, Graeme Gibson, that same year.

Old Babes in the Wood will come out March 7, but you can preview you it in a particularly poignant short story: "Widows" describes Nell coming to terms with life after losing her partner.
