The Hay Festival is adding a new feature this year, to tie in with another event taking place in the UK.

It's the Eurovision Book Contest, in honor of the song competition being held in Liverpool.

The Guardian reports that all readers are invited to send in their favorite fiction from any of the thirty-seven countries participating in the Eurovision Song Contest.

The books can be in any language and are recommended (but not required) to come from 1956 and later, to align with the song contest's tenure.

You can read more about how the Eurovision Book Contest will work in the Guardian.
