The news of María Kodama's death was mostly presented in terms of what it meant for her husband's literary estate.
And her obituary, too, largely focuses on her life in connection with Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges, whom she married after years of traveling and working with him.
That said, she did some writing (and translating) of her own, and her relationship with Borges was rather noteworthy of its own accord.
You can read more about Kodama's life in The New York Times.
