This story is a month old, but it will become clear why we’re sharing it now …
Author Karina May's rom-com Duck à l’Orange for Breakfast draws from her own personal experience having undergone surgery for a brain tumor a few years ago.
After she woke up from surgery, she was full of drugs — and ideas.
She insisted on writing down what was going through her head, and it took quite a bit of deciphering once the chemicals were out of her system, but it did pave the way for Duck à l’Orange for Breakfast.
