Our RSS feeder recently delivered two posts about book spots that we'd love to be transported to right away ...

One came from Taste, a website affiliated with Penguin Random House, and celebrates all of the libraries that serve refreshments along with literature.

Most — but not all! — are outside the US, but writer Mackenzie Filson is hopeful that a movement is under way.

The other post takes us high into the mountains of a rural part of China.

That's where poet Jiang Libo built a bookstore in the shape of the number seven.

It boasts a 7,000-book collection and hopes to improve access to reading material for the sparsely populated region.
