Technically, the Ulysses in 80 challenge is well under way.
But, Literary Hub notes in reporting its revival, the assignment is to read James Joyce's opus — known as a challenge to many readers — in very digestible pieces.
The group led by Trinity College immunologist Professor Cliona O’Farrelly and regular Ulysses reader Kevin Anderson kicked off the second edition of this group reading on June 1, with the goal of concluding August 19.
Readers are welcome to use print or audio versions of Ulysses and to join in the discussion with the hashtag #Ulyssesin80.
