Here's the 2023 longlist for the National Book Award for Young People's Literature

The longlist for the National Book Award for Young People’s Literature came out today.

Out of almost 350 submissions, these ten remain under consideration.

Finalists for all categories — the other four being poetry, fiction, translated literature, and nonfiction — will be announced October 3, and the winners will be revealed November 15.

• Parachute Kids by Betty C. Tang

• More Than a Dream: The Radical March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom by Yohuru Williams and Michael G. Long
