The longlist for the National Book Award for Poetry came out today.
Out of almost 300 submissions, these ten remain under consideration.
Finalists for all categories — the other four being fiction, young people's literature, translated literature, and nonfiction — will be announced October 3, and the winners will be revealed November 15.
