The longlist for the National Book Award for Nonfiction came out yesterday.
Out of over six hundred submissions, these ten remain under consideration.
Finalists for all categories — the other four being poetry, young people's literature, translated literature, and fiction — will be announced October 3, and the winners will be revealed November 15.
