Actors George Takei and Chris Colfer have more books in the works

Previously published actors have announced more upcoming works in the past week.

George Takei's My Lost Freedom, a picture book about his early years spent in internment camps for Japanese Americans, comes out April 30, reports The Associated Press.

Takei, who came to fame on Star Trek, said in a statement that this time of his life is what drove him to become the political activist he is today.

Fellow actor — of an entirely different generation — Chris Colfer is also continuing his literary journey.

Colfer, famous for his role on Glee, is launching a space fantasy series that starts with Roswell Johnson Saves the World!.

It will come out June 4.
