Stephanie Land previews her follow-up to "Maid"

One of the best — and most informative — memoirs I've ever read was Maid by Stephanie Land.

For those who share my opinion, great news: she has a follow-up to it that comes out tomorrow.

Class recounts what it was like to then work while attending college — and pursuing her dream career, versus the "safe" route.

As she told NPR and The New York Times, even her achievement of that dream (Maid became a bestseller and a Netflix series) wasn't without its challenges.

Which isn't to say she's complaining — she's also quite clear in the interviews that her story has been treated with more compassion than other folks' might have been.
