The last best-of-2023 book list … ?

The flood of best-of lists has slowed, but it hasn't quite stopped.

So we'll share one more look back and then begin to move forward.

Our final (?) list from 2023 comes from The New York Times, which invited staffers from varying departments to share their favorite reads (fiction and nonfiction) of this past year.

And to move forward, we turn to Electric Literature, which highlighted seventy-five books by women of color to read in 2024 (grouped by month).
