Two nonfiction authors recently appeared on NPR to promote their new memoirs.
Basketball star Brittney Griner, who spent almost ten months in a Russian prison, released her memoir of that time this week.
She appeared on both Consider This and All Things Considered to discuss Coming Home, which came out Tuesday.
Another memoir also focuses on the issue of justice, albeit domestically.
Tracie McMillan's The White Bonus examines the ways in which US policies, practices, and past actions have literally resulted in financial benefits to white people at the expense of those who aren't white.
You can listen to or read a transcript of her conversation with Michel Martin on NPR's website.
