The year-end best-of lists just keep coming!
The Guardian added translated fiction, music books, and children's books to its genre-specific lists, while The New York Times did the same with historical fiction, science fiction/fantasy, romance, children's books, graphic novels, and audiobooks.
Also breaking down by genre, though we're linking to the main landing pages: the 2024 Goodreads Choice Awards and AudioFile's best audiobooks of 2024.
The New Yorker chose twelve fiction/poetry works and twelve nonfiction works (which you can preview at Book Riot if you're out of free articles).
Book Riot also compiled a best-of-the-best list of young-adult books.
And finally, Electric Literature invites you to both see which novels it chose as the year's best and to cast your vote for the covers you liked the most.
