A click means that a reader selected your book in a Fussy Librarian newsletter or related recommendation and followed the link to a retailer.
Clicks are a useful measure of reader interest because they show that someone took an additional step beyond simply seeing the book.
A click does not confirm that the reader downloaded or purchased the ebook. Retailers generally do not provide The Fussy Librarian with transaction-level information that would allow us to connect an individual newsletter click with a later sale or download.
