We're discovering today that many links to the Apple bookstore are not working. But we're also hearing that books appear to be in the store if you go through the iTunes app.
We apologize to readers for the inconvenice, but it's out of our control. Apple will decide when to put the books back online.
This also affects book submissions -- we can't approve a title unless the system determines each link is valid. So that will slow down approvals. There's about 280 books currently waiting to be approved.
9 p.m. update: It appears the Apple links are working again.

As far as I know, no books have actually been removed by Apple. Some links to the web version of iTunes are wacky, but all books seem to be for sale in the actual iTunes store.
