Bradley Metrock predicts that the basic questions we ask virtual assistants today will soon evolve into much more complex requests ...

... like, “What book should I read next?”

Metrock is the CEO of Score Publishing, which produces Digital Book World in addition to owning and operating the podcast network VoiceFirst.FM.

As artificial intelligence “learns” from basic commands, he says, it will gain the capacity to answer questions such as:

"OK Google, are there any books that discuss podcasting as a marketing device? Find me a good one and go ahead and buy it."

"Alexa, show me a list of books I might like to read next week at the beach. Make sure it's along the lines of ones I read last year on vacation."
