If you love psychological thrillers in book and movie form, here’s something to anticipate with bated breath.

Alex North’s debut novel, The Whisper Man, will come out in paperback in spring 2019 and on the big screen.

There are no predictions yet for when the movie will come out, as AGBO just optioned the rights, Screen Daily reported Monday.

AGBO is a Los Angeles-based artists collective founded by Avengers: Infinity War directors Anthony and Joe Russo.

The Bookseller described The Whisper Man back in March as a “‘darkly gripping’ thriller about a father and son who move to a small town, which unbeknownst to them has been haunted by a serial killer.

“The one thing that links the victims is that in the days leading up to their disappearances, each claimed to have heard a whispering at their window.”
