A Man Booker Prize winner will be (figuratively) burying her next novel in the Norwegian forest.

Han Kang, author of The Vegetarian, is the latest writer to join artist Katie Paterson’s Future Library project, reports The Guardian.

In the project, authors place manuscripts seen only by their creators in Oslo’s Deichman library, where they will await printing in 2114.

The books will be printed on paper sourced from the forest surrounding Oslo.

Han joins Margaret Atwood, David Mitchell, Elif Shafak, and Sjón in bequeathing a manuscript.

Read more about the project and its significance to the creator and participants in The Guardian.
