We recently admitted on Instagram that we were giving up, at page three hundred out of four hundred, on our new book club’s first reading choice.
To our great delight, no one shamed us, which we’re interpreting as an agreement that there are too many books out there just waiting to be read for us to waste time on something that isn’t our thing.
It did tickle our funny bones, though, that we made our momentous decision to quit the book on the same day that we found this post from Quirk Books, on its literary book-club dream team.
No matter how strict this new book club turns out to be, chances are it won’t be as frightening as Quirk Books’s lineup would be!
