When you’re a single person in a coupled world, there’s no shortage of situations in which you feel like the system shortchanges you.

That includes cooking — don’t you just love either eating the same meal for a week, or dusting off your math skills to halve or quarter a recipe (and praying you didn’t divide wrong)?

Well, accomplished chef Anita Lo has certainly been in your shoes, and she’s here to make things easier and tastier for you.

Listen to Lo’s interview below or read a transcript on NPR’s website.
