Every day is Giving Tuesday in the writing world, it seems — authors are always eager to support one another in whatever small way they can.

When asking for a favor, though, it never hurts to approach the giver in the right way.

David Crumm of Front Edge Publishing has eleven years of practice in requesting endorsements, forewords, and prefaces for books.

And in that time, he says, he’s only received kind responses, even if it’s a “no.”
