Our current favorite show to binge-watch solo is The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, so we were delighted to see its star in this week’s New York Times By the Book feature.

Ellie Kemper, as it turns out, has excellent literary taste — inhaling the Baby-Sitters Club series as a kid, adoring Curtis Sittenfeld as an adult, and wishing she could play Jo March?
