Author N.K. Jemisin was a doubly fitting interview for the end of the year, as Ari Shapiro points out.

December is typically when you catch up with the year’s big winners — and Jemisin became the only author ever to win the Hugo Award for best novel in three consecutive years.

And the end of the year (a tumultuous one, at that) seems like an appropriate time to discuss fiction that takes place as the world is ending.
