Though the race to be Arizona’s superintendent of public institution was a partisan one, we think the results will please all Fussy fans.

Kathy Hoffman, who won in November, took the oath last Monday morning with her left hand on the children’s book Too Many Moose.

Hoffman explained to local TV station 12 News: “This is my students’ favorite book. This is the book that my students always wanted to read from.”

According to the station, Hoffman is a political newcomer and former educator.
