It may have been a while since you were last in a Barnes & Noble (over six months, for us), so two recent posts about the stores might intrigue you.

Nate Hoffelder noticed yesterday that signs advertising the Nook have come down, at least in the store he visited.

Though you can find them in small print, mentions of the e-reader across the store are generally few and far between — just like in the bookstore’s public discussions of revenue, he points out on his blog, The Digital Reader.

Kristine Kathryn Rusch doesn’t have much optimism about B&N, either, in her business musings post on author prospects in bookstores and libraries.
