Language geeks, head over to the Atlas of Endangered Alphabets, stat!

The website was created by a nonprofit called (unsurprisingly) The Endangered Alphabets Project, which “preserves endangered cultures by using their writing systems to create artwork and educational materials.”

Its atlas includes an interactive map and traditional index where you can learn more about each written language, including seeing images of it and understanding its history.
