It’s official: two Nobel Prizes in Literature will be handed out this year, to make up for last year’s canceled award.

The 2018 prize was put on hold partly because of sexual-harassment allegations against photographer Jean-Claude Arnault, whose wife was on the Nobel committee.

Some of the reported incidents took place at properties owned by the Swedish Academy, which administers the Nobel prizes.

Arnault was convicted of rape last fall, though he planned to appeal.

In the press release about the literary prizes, several changes to the process and committee were also revealed.

Regulations and statutes have been clarified, but most notably, the Swedish Academy has added five independent external members to the committee.

It also confirmed that members associated with last year’s scandals — including the sexual-harassment one, but also one regarding the inability to resign from the committee — are no longer part of the organization.

The full news release is available on the Nobel Prize’s website.
