The United Kingdom has a new fastest-selling nonfiction book.

The Pinch of Nom Cookbook, coming from the women behind the eponymous food blog, sold over 210,000 copies in its first week on shelves, reports the BBC.

That’s 45,000 more than any other nonfiction book since record-keeping began in 1998.

Kay Featherstone and Kate Allinson knocked out overall record-holder Peter Kay's The Sound of Laughter and cookbook-specific record-holder Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Italy

Learn more about Featherstone and Allinson, who sound like simply delightful people, in the BBC article or, um, on their apparently popular blog.

(PS — if you're inclined to crack jokes about British cooking, may we also recommend the Guardian's review of Pie Fidelity, a book celebrating English cuisine?)
