Anyone who consumes daily news probably doesn’t need an expert to tell them that extremism seems to be on the rise.

That said, J.M. Berger has written or co-written two books on the topic — Extremism and ISIS: The State Of Terror — which gives him extra insight into what brought us here and what has helped the hatred to thrive.
