Another testimonial to the power of books: they can help you overcome bad habits.

Writer Simon Doherty gradually became aware of just how frequently he checked social media and how unhealthy it was.

So he decided to pick up a book each time he felt the itch to mindlessly scroll through Facebook.

He chronicled the experience in an essay on Medium that, frankly, left us incredibly inspired to follow suit (with, of course, modifications built in for the nature of our job).
