A spoiler-free George R.R. Martin post

Our hearts truly go out to the dedicated A Song of Ice and Fire readers, who’ve loved the series so patiently and for so long ... only to watch the TV series plow through spoiler after spoiler.

So we’re happy to share that author George R.R. Martin might have a special treat in the final books, whenever they arrive, that haven’t appeared thus far on the show: unicorns.

“I have an interesting take on unicorns coming up in the new books,” Martin told Neil deGrasse Tyson in a recent interview.
