A Minnesota high-schooler has won this year’s Poetry Out Loud competition.

You can listen to Isabella Callery recite "Thoughtless Cruelty" by Charles Lamb — a performance that earned her $20,000 — below thanks to NPR.

Callery advanced through several rounds of competition during what NPR described as "a kind of annual spelling bee for poetry."
