Poetry to the People tour takes off next week

Fans who live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Louisiana have a chance to see big-name authors stop by their cities in a bookmobile.

The Poetry to the People tour will travel 1,800 miles from New York to New Orleans, stopping for readings, events, and book-donation dropoffs along the way.

Literary figures tagging along include author Kiese Laymon and poets Hanif Abdurraqib, Rickey Laurentiis, and Jenny Johnson.
