Narrowing your focus will lead to big opportunities — so think small to think big.

At least that’s the takeaway we had after reading Andre Chaperon’s recent interview with Joanna Penn.

Chaperon, an entrepreneur, writer, and marketer, encourages a bit of polarization, in that your ideal market is actually quite small.

Once you accept that reality, identify that audience, and focus on it exclusively, you’ll push others away — not intentionally or maliciously, but automatically.

This is good, Chaperon insists, because you’re drawing in the readers who matter. And that’s what you need for the long run — a core group that you can rely and build upon.
