Ann Patchett’s latest novel, The Dutch House, heads out to readers tomorrow.

The novel, according to its blurb, “explores the indelible bond between two siblings, the house of their childhood, and a past that will not let them go.”

Her publisher has made a twelve-page excerpt available to whet your appetite, and Literary Hub also has a Q&A between Patchett and fellow author Mary Laura Philpott about her inspiration for the novel.

NPR also shared its review of The Dutch House, which it described as "another wonderful read by an author who embodies compassion."

One last thought: If you’re in or near Nashville, Tennessee, Patchett will be at a book launch/signing event tonight.

Not in Nashville? No worries; her tour continues throughout the U.S. this fall.
