In political book news from across the pond: A parody dust jacket for a former prime minister’s memoir has given British readers much to laugh about.
So far, only one reader has reported finding a replacement cover for David Cameron’s For the Record, according to the Guardian, and the bookstore where it was found has pulled it from shelves despite the keen interest in purchasing it.
The standard dust jacket has glowing praise from the Sunday Times on the front; the parody version, a made-up quote from Donald Trump.
Head over to the Guardian’s article to see more images of the fake cover and admire the craftsmanship even if some of the Britain-specific jokes elude you.
