Elvis Presley's granddaughter to star in "Daisy Jones & the Six" adaptation

The bestselling novel Daisy Jones & the Six, about a fictional rock band, will star a real-life rock star’s granddaughter when it comes to Amazon Video.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, will play the title character.

Reese Witherspoon, the project’s executive producer, has previously said that she “devoured Daisy Jones & the Six in a day, falling head over heels for Daisy” and chose the novel for her book club.

The twelve-episode miniseries doesn’t have a public release date yet.

Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid tells the story of the rise and fall of a 1970s rock group.
