Okay, we’re sure you’ll all tell us that you went to the library FAR more often in 2019 that the average respondent to a new poll.

But we can all still celebrate Gallup's findings — that going to the library was by far the most popular cultural activity in 2019.

Gallup surveyed 1,025 adults across the US in December and reports that on average, they visited the library 10.5 times in the past year.

That’s nearly twice as often as the second most popular activity, which was going to a movie (done 5.3 times, on average, last year).
