Dennis Baron has bad news for some of you out there: singular “they” is here to stay.
Baron, author of the new book What's Your Pronoun?: Beyond He and She, delivers this news in a recent interview with Lulu Garcia-Navarro on Weekend Edition.
He explains, among other things, why this actually isn’t a new debate and what he predicts may happen beyond acceptance of singular “they.”
