We could all use some light news right now, so courtesy of a Sri Lankan author, here it is.
Sybil Wettasinghe, a ninety-year-old author and illustrator of popular children's books, now holds the Guinness World Record for most alternate endings to a book thanks to her country’s children.
Wettasinghe’s latest work, Wonder Crystal, has 1,250 different ways to end.
She told UPI that she received about 20,000 submissions when she asked kids to send in suggestions.
In unofficial and older book-record news, we also (supposedly) have the world's longest book written by an algorithm, thanks to a Montreal man.
