Congratulations are also in order today for Ruchika Tomar, who won the 2020 PEN/Hemingway Award for Debut Novel.
Tamar will receive $25,000 and a residency at a writing retreat in Wyoming.
Her novel, A Prayer for Travelers, is set in the rural West and explores how, in searching for her missing friend, one woman also must find herself.
