How classic novels would've closed in the time of social distancing

Literary Hub rewrote the first lines of several classic novels so that they fit social distancing recommendations last week.

And naturally, with the continued abundance of spare time (and developments in the health world), staff found time to rewrite the closing lines of several novels.
