One more sign of the times: the Oxford English Dictionary is being updated, ahead of schedule, to reflect new words and uses of words during the coronavirus pandemic.

Check out the dictionary’s blog post on the words it has added (including, unsurprisingly, COVID-19), the definitions it has updated (such as social distancing), and the phrases it has revived (self-isolation, for instance).

And fun fact: The Guardian notes that by March, every word in the OED’s top twenty keywords was related to coronavirus.
