Draft2Digital has an update for authors using its services to sell through Barnes & Noble.
With sales plummeting during the coronavirus pandemic and shutdown, B&N has been delaying royalty payments, as The Digital Reader reported earlier.
D2D now says that full payment could be delayed up to ninety days, but that one-third of February sales totals will be paid now.
D2D has established a line of credit to cover the remaining two-thirds of payment and will distribute that to authors once B&N provides its one-third share.
To be clear, B&N has told D2D that it plans to pay out the remaining two-thirds, just at a later date.
You can read the full details here.

That email from D2D arrived in my inbox this morning. It's nice of D2D to pay the authors, but I sadly fear that B&N is failing, they have been struggling for a while.
