Inspired by a similar project in New York City, two Londoners are renaming the city’s tube system to honor influential women and nonbinary people.

Reni Eddo-Lodge, author of Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People about Race, and Emma Watson, an actress and activist, are leading the project.

They hope the brainstorming will culminate in a format that can be published on March 8 (International Women’s Day).

The public is encouraged to submit suggestions of iconic people with key ties to various areas of London.

Early literary suggestions, according to the Guardian, include Mary Wollstonecraft, Zadie Smith, and Virginia Woolf.

You can read more about the London tube map project, including how to recommend new names, in the Guardian.
