Several celebrities released new books today.

Former President Barack Obama’s memoir A Promised Land and comedian Steve Martin’s collaboration with cartoonist Harry Bliss, A Wealth of Pigeons: A Cartoon Collection, are both on shelves now — and their authors both spoke with NPR in the leadup to their releases.

From Obama, we have an interview with Michel Martin as well as audio excerpts, read by the author himself.

And from Martin and Bliss, we have an interview with Rachel Martin.

BookMarks has gathered reviews for both A Promised Land and A Wealth of Pigeons: A Cartoon Collection as well.
