The price-fixing lawsuit filed in New York state against Amazon looks a little different now.

Publishers Weekly reported last week that a refiled complaint now lists the Big Five publishers as defendants instead of co-conspirators.

The actual claim in the lawsuit — that “Amazon and the Big Five agreed to price restraints” that resulted in buyers overpaying for ebooks — remains the same in the February 4 amended claim.

Penguin Random House, Hachette Book Group, Harper Collins, Simon and Schuster, and Macmillan comprise the so-called Big Five publishers.
